Meryl "June" Berdinski's Obituary
Mrs. Meryl “June” Berdinski, age 89, passed away at home on April 23, 2013. She was born to Fredrick and Bernice (Roach) Gundy on June 11, 1923 in West Plains, MO. June worked as a cook for Orchard View Public Schools prior to her retirement. In her free time she enjoyed gardening and knitting. On September 28, 1946 she married Leonard J. Berdinski and he preceded her in death on November 24, 2006. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, James (Joann) Berdinski and Leonard “Lee” (Debbie) Berdinski, Jr.; 2 granddaughters, Jennifer (Brock) Berdinski and Rebecca (Tim) Berdinski-Marshall; 4 great-grandchildren, Caleb and Michael Berdinski-Marshall and Nathan and Noah Young; sister, Louise (James) Inglesbe. She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Berdinski in 1995. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 27, 2013 at The Walburn Chapel 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 with Pastor John H. Brown officiating. VISITATION with the family will take place one hour prior to the service. INTERMENT will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. MEMORIALS can be directed to the St. Judes Children Hospital.
