Michael D. Balas' Obituary
Mr. Michael D. Balas, 47, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 5, 2016 . He was born July 2, 1968 to Thomas A. and MaryJo (Jaso) Balas in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident of this area. Michael had been a truck driver for several Muskegon businesses, a CB Radio operator (handle DoughBoy), was a mechanic and handy man who could fix anything. He was always helping his family, friends and neighbors with anything he could. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Thomas A. (Beverly) Balas, his mother and step-father, MaryJo (Joseph) Alex; his brother, Thomas M. Balas; the family dog, Pepper; several aunts, uncles and cousins; close friends, Mark and Kim Whelply; and his close neighbor, Quinton Anderson. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chris and Jennie Balas, Steve and Virginia Jaso; uncle Steve Jaso; cousin Wendy Balas; and step-brother, Bruce Wright.
