Michael D. Barendse's Obituary
Mr. Michael D. Barendse, age 64, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022, at his home. He was born December 11, 1957, in Muskegon to Kenneth and (Shirley Gould) Barendse. Michael worked as a crane operator in the Chicago area for many years. He enjoyed being ourdoors and playing sports with his family and friends. Survivors include his father, Kenneth Barendse; his son, Ken; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; two sisters, Denise (Michael) Johnson, and Diane (Harold) Meisch; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Heather Marie, his mother Shirley, and his sister Deborah Elwell. A family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Sytsema Chape of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
