Michael Richard Cuti's Obituary
Michael Richard Cuti passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 71. He was born on April 14, 1954, in St. Georges, Bermuda to Air Force father, Michael Charles Cuti and mother, Ruth Mildred Cuti (both deceased). He is survived by two siblings, Debbie Ralya, living in Boulder, Colorado and Charles Cuti and his family, living in Park Ridge, QLD, Australia. Mike, also known as “Red”, graduated from Grand Haven High School. He was talented and creative, loved car restoration, woodworking, hunting deer and geese, and foraging for Morel mushrooms. He also enjoyed playing billiards and received many trophies for winning tournaments. He worked at restoring cars, first with Miller Chevrolet, then Presley Auto Body, and Rademaker Auto, before venturing off on his own. He enjoyed restoring classics like ‘56 & ‘57 Chevys, Camaros, Mustangs, Corvettes, and other classics. Mike had a fond relationship with his nephew, Charlie Cuti (deceased), and with his niece, Michele Cuti (living in Texas), and her son, Tru.
Mike lived in Spring Lake for many years before health challenges brought him to Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in Grand Haven in January 2023. This is where he passed of natural causes. Mike did not want a memorial service and was interred at Lakeshore Cemetery. Rest in peace, Mike!
