We were in Florida when Mr. Gautraud passed. My husband Craig, was very good friends with Mr. Gautraud's son Peter who passed in 2001, along with 35 other people we knew that year! Our parents have passed, among other loved ones & so we know the empty hurt felt when losing someone so close. Many MYC memories. Thinking of U at this time, Craig & Denice Meyer family...

To Ann and the Gautraud family: My heart and prayers are with you. I have known the Gautraud family 44 years, and will sadly miss Mike. He loved his sailing, his cigars, and his beer. Had many beers over the years, just chatting, and listening to this wise man. Enjoyed his sense of humor, and his knowledge. Loved racing against him in the many races over the years. He was a great asset to Muskegon Yacht Club with his expertise in engineering, and racing. He will be sadly missed. God bless the Gautraud family.
