Michael R. Hill's Obituary
Michael R. Hill, age 62, passed away Thursday evening, August 5, 2021. He was born on August 25, 1958, to Gilbert and Karen (Cook) Hill in Muskegon, MI and has lived his whole life there. He was a dedicated employee of Holland Log Homes, where he worked for numerous years. On October 16, 2015, he married, the former Ann Camp in Muskegon, MI. Mike took an interest in technology and loved to fiddle on the computer. He was also an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and of the show Survivor and had routine nights set aside with his sister to watch it. In his later years, he became interested in genealogy and was fascinated with the history of his family. Mike’s humor was able to fill a room with endless smiles and laughter. His kindhearted and goofy spirit will truly be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Ann Hill; sister, Cynthia (George) Gokey; brothers, Timothy Hill and Bryan (Melissa) Hill; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Chuck Porter and Brandon (Melissa) Eklund. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rebecca Gillett; and brother, Charles Hill. A Celebration of Life will be held for Michael at a later date.
