Michael J. Hladki Sr.'s Obituary
Michael J. Hladki, Sr., 70, passed away Saturday morning, July 4, 2015 at his home. He was born May 10, 1945 to John and Marie (Langlois) Hladki in Muskegon Heights, and was a lifelong resident of the Muskegon area. Mr. Hladki worked for Structural Concepts for 25 years before retiring. On August 5, 1967 he married Mary Lou Raap, and she preceded him in death on July 1, 1998. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, Michael (Carmen) Hladki, Jr., Daniel (Dena) Hladki; 4 grandchildren, Heather (Matt) Ingersol, Russell (Jenny) Sugarbaker, Andrew Sugarbaker, and Nathan Hladki; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, his twin brother, Anthony (Jean) Hladki, and David (Connie) Hladki; 4 sisters, Irene (Bill) Portenga, Cathy Hammond, Mary (Nelson) Dreese, Joni Luttrull; and several in-laws. He was also preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother Leona; 1 brother, John Hladki; 2 sisters, Agnes Richards and Theresa Strayer; and his stepsister, Shirley Musser. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 9, at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., (231) 726-5210. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
