Mr. Michael Charles Majeski's Obituary
Mr. Michael Charles Majeski, age 69, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 30, 2015 at his home. Mike was born September 20, 1946 to Lucian and Ruth (Worden) Majeski in Muskegon. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On June 14, 1975 he married the former Donna M. Dunham and she survives him. Mike taught for the Reeths-Puffer School System for 28 years prior to his retirement in 2000. He was an avid golfer and had been golfing since the age of twelve. Lincoln Golf Course was Mike’s second home. Along with his wife of 40 years, he is survived by his sons, Brian (Colleen) Majeski of Fort Collins, CO and Michael (Renee) Diepen of Grand Haven; two grandsons, Andrew and Eric; four great-grandchildren; his sister, Debbie Majeski of Sand Lake; sister-in-law, Virginia Dunham; brother-in-law, Louis Dunham; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward; and sister, Karen. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Friday, December 4, 2015 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Pastor John H. Brown officiating with Full Military Rites afforded under the auspices of VFW Muskegon County Council. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
