Mike Mike I know Grandma Ree was waiting for you when you entered heaven. She loved you boys so much. She loved us all so much. Tell her I said hi and that I miss all of them, Aunt La, Aunt Peggy and Aunt Halley. The world sure is different and I long for the days of our past. Mac made me a Cupid coffee I his tent I Kuwait one day. We started talking and found out his convoy followed my convoy on the rotations. I told him how we had to drop or not let some trucks go on our convoy because if their condition. Mac said "Yeah, all those trucks of yours? We rolled with them." He was quick with a smile and looked out for his troops. I'll never forget him.
We could never know your pain..all we can do is join in on the wonderful memories and share. One of the good guys has FALLEN. We all know to soon and will never understand WHY NOW. What we have now is amazing photos and stories and tome if remembrance. He was a great man that made everyone around him SMILE. His many years of service for our country will never be forgotten. His love for his famila will be cherished. To Salli and to the kids.....these moments keep close to your heart and know he will be with you ALWAYS.
Uncle mike was the greatest, he is a great inspiration in my life for being a better man. I remember one summer he came back from Iraq and he had no hair and got big and I looked at how the military changed him and that's what I wanted to be like. Because of him I joined the military and I'm proud to serve, love ya uncle mike r.i.p
I'm so very sorry for your loss Sally, he's gone too soon, just like our BF Cheryl--I'm just lost without her but, we have such good memories to cherish forever. Please know you're in my thoughts & prayers, you & your family have my deepest sympathy ;(

One found memory I have is Mac was our mechanic for a job sight In Iraq, I had radio watch/listen and we bs for about 5 hrs. So many times I laughed. Also we both came home on leave along with another guy who was extremely drunk. Me and Mike had to take turns keeping him out of trouble. Oh the good times you can have with a great soul of a person. Ride the clouds Mac!
