Michael J. Olejarczyk's Obituary
Michael J. Olejarczyk, 69, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018. Michael was born on December 16, 1948 in Muskegon to Chester and Evelyn (Peterson) Olejarczyk. Michael served his country proudly in the US Air Force, and continued his service while performing taps for the Veterans of Foreign Wars County Council Honor Guard in Muskegon for many years. He enjoyed bowling, music, visiting with friends and hanging with his buddies. Mike belonged to the VFW Post #446, Order of the Eagles, Lithuanian Club and Tatra Hall. In 1979, he married the former, Janet Dolislager and she preceded him in death in 1984. Mike is survived by his step-daughter, Lynn (Steve) Howard; brothers, John (Sally), David (Linda), Dennis and Kenneth Olejarczyk; sisters, Karen Bourdon, Jean Kidd, and Ruthann (Larry) Fekken; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Allen Peterson and Phillip Olejarczyk; and sister, Sonia Johnson. Funeral Services will be 11AM Thursday, June 14, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100, with Pastor Mark Baker officiating. Visitation with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 10-11AM. Burial will take place in Mona View Cemetery.
