Michael William Pallasch's Obituary
Mr. Michael William “Mike” Pallasch, age 71, died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 23, 2024 as the result of an automobile accident. Mike was born in Muskegon, Michigan on April 4, 1953 to Richard and Theresa (Vrooman) Pallasch. He was employed as a Corrections Officer at the Ernest C. Brooks Correctional Facility for 25 years prior to his retirement in 2012. Mike, along with his wife Ellen, was actively involved with the Muskegon Civic Theatre for 42 years where he used his talents to build sets and specialty props. He enjoyed music, was a talented woodworker, and enjoyed giving advice, but enjoyed being right even more! Mike married the former Ellen Lynette Reed on January 10, 1981 and she survives him along with two children, Phillip Daniel “Dan” (Valerie Glasen) Hickey and Brianne Lynette (John) Medema; three grandchildren, Malykai Glasen-Hickey, Kaylynn Moschke, and Michael Moschke; two sisters, Diane (Larry) Chan and Dawn (Lee) David; and his fur babies, Ruby, Cleo, and Sasha. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steve Pallasch. A CELEBRATION OF MIKE’S LIFE will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 19, 2024 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 with VISITATION one hour prior to his service.
