Mr. Michael John Regeczi Sr. 's Obituary
Mr. Michael J. Regeczi Sr., age 93, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016. Michael was born on July 21, 1923 in Muskegon Heights to Joseph and Anna Regeczi. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Michael enjoyed gardening, reading the Muskegon Chronicle and Bill O’Reilly novels. He was also a Hollywood Movie expert and enjoyed High School and College girls and boys sports. Mike especially enjoyed going up north for lunch with his wife, Cele, who preceded him in death in 2014. He is survived by his children, Michael J. Regeczi Jr. of Muskegon, Marijo (Michael) Elwell of Climax, MI, and Jeffrey Regeczi of Norton Shores; 3 grandchildren, Michael III, Christina, and Nicklaus. He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11 AM Wednesday, October 5 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church Marian Chapel, 2929 McCracken St. with Rev. Fr. James R. VanderLaan presiding. Visitation with the family one hour prior to the Mass (10-11 AM). Memorial Contributions may be made to the Loaves and Fishes Pantry through Catholic Charities West Michigan or St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Arrangements by The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W.
