Michael Gerard Remkes' Obituary
Michael Gerard Remkes, age 63, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017, at Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. He was born November 23, 1953, to John M. and Mildred Virgil (Childs) Remkes.
Mike won a silver medal at the Special Olympics, loved playing cribbage, and bowling.
He is lovingly remembered by his two brothers, Mark Remkes and Robert Remkes both of Grand Haven; his sister-in-law, Lorilei Remkes of Phoenix, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John M. Remkes on January 13, 1994, his mother, Mildred Remkes on May 21, 2009, and his brother, William Remkes on July 19, 2010.
