Michael Harold Sorensen's Obituary
Mr. Michael Harold Sorensen, age 66, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023 in Muskegon, Michigan. He was born in Muskegon on January 6, 1957 to Harold and Donna (Sills) Sorensen. Michael graduated from Mona Shores High School, class of 1976. He was employed by Northwestern Auto Supply for 15 years prior to his retirement. Michael loved animals and had several dogs, cats, and bunnies throughout his life. He enjoyed traveling to visit lighthouses. Michael also enjoyed fishing, sailing, coloring, and spending time in his pole barn. On May 22, 2004, Michael married the former Dianna Lynn Hannaman in Whitehall and she survives him along with two brothers, Scott (David Fallen) Sorensen and Bruce (Lisa) Sorensen and his mother-in-law, Roberta Habian. He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved dog, Maggie. VISITATION will be from 5-7 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442 and one hour prior to his service on Thursday. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Thursday, October 26, 2023 at The Sytsema Chapel. Burial will be in Laketon Township Cemetery.
