Michael Everett Squire's Obituary
Michael Everett Squire, age 67, passed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, February 5, 2026. Mike was born in Hart, Michigan, and grew up in Muskegon County and Tulsa, Oklahoma, until 1975. When he was 17, he joined the Air Force and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1980. Mike was a member of Emmanuel Free Church in Spring Lake. Michael worked in the construction industry, providing product support until his retirement in 2021 at Wacker Neuson. His greatest pleasure was singing. He was in multiple choruses and quartets in both Oklahoma and Michigan. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Margie; son, Michael Squire; daughter, Michelle (Chris) Phipps; and son, William (Ashley) Squire; grandchildren, Willow and Shayde Phipps, Declan Squire, and Julien Squire. Siblings include Violet (Fritz Ochs), Veen Wayne (Bonnie) Squire; Valerie Gaskill and stepfather, Jim Larson. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie (Joanne) Squire, and his sister, Laura Squire.
