Mr. Michael James Vanover's Obituary
Michael James Vanover, age 29, of Spring Lake passed away at home Friday, October 19, 2012. He was born November 1, 1982 to Bryce and Emma (Schebel) Vanover.
Michael graduated from Spring Lake High School in 2001, then attained an Associate’s Degree from Baker College, and a Degree in Culinary Arts. He previously worked as a cut chef at Heart Six Ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming before moving back to Spring Lake. Michael enjoyed riding his quad, skiing, golfing, reading, enjoyed using the computer, and was an avid movie enthusiast. He attended Crossroads Bible Institute in Holland, MI.
Michael is lovingly remembered by his father, Bryce Vanover of Spring Lake; brother, Bryce (Laura) Vanover II of San Antonio, Texas; grandmothers, Charlene Vanover of Land O’ Lakes, Florida, and Nancy Schebel of San Diego, California; and his niece, Cassidy Vanover. He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Vanover on December 11, 2005; and grandfathers, Irv Schebel and James Vanover.
A Memorial Service for Michael will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 25, 2012 at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. Daniel Anderson officiating. Friends may meet the family from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven.
