I served on the USS Abott DD629 with Mike. We worked hard, played hard, and he was a great guy. Smooth sailing and warm sunshine, Mike. Jim Keese.
Dear Tm and Catherine,
I have fond memories of Mike a a friend and coach . I will never forget his infamous "coke frame" in football at Tri Cities.
Mike was generous, kind, a gruff teddy bear and a good friend to us.
I am so sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

Sorry to hear Mike passed away , I was his mail carrier and we had a few beers together at Stan’s on Thursdays . He was a wonderful guy , always telling jokes . I will miss him . ❤️❤️
Mike,
I’ve known you all my life. I just visited you a couple of weeks ago. We talked so much about back in the day, and shared so much laughter. We talked about Alan and Carl, you said you were going to live 100 years! My kids knew you as Uncle Mike, you took time to teach them about motors, animals, and always gave them suckers.
I didn’t know you were sick, I’m sorry for that.
I do know that all your aches and pains are now gone.
You will be greatly missed by Jim and I.
I’ll never forget the hours and hours of you pushing us on the tire swing!
Beautiful memories ❤️...
So sorry for the loss of "uncle" Mike. Thoughts and prayers to all of you. I first met mike and his family when I was 11 years old thru my stepdad Denny Mills. My brother and myself spent alot of time at his house. He used to babysit my brother Travis whom he nick named "buddly". Travis used to follow him around and was his shadow while he was out dealing with the animals. I'm sure most of my brothers love for animals came from uncle mike. As we have became adults we didnt visit or see him much but he did make an impact on us when we were younger. R.I.P. Uncle Mike.
