Please accept our deepest sympathies to the family of "papa" Ladd. My husband and I were just leaving to go out of town and could not attend the visitation. I would especially like to give a hug to Geri who was a classmate of mine and also Mrs. Ladd who was always so kind. I will keep you both and also your families in my prayers.##imported-begin##Craig and Carrie Scott##imported-end##

What a loss for all of us at my office. Mike was a great pharm. rep, patient, and friend. We loved each other and he loved all his family. God bless the Ladd family as you lean on Him to lift you up!!##imported-begin##Thomas Watkins, DO##imported-end##
To the Family:
I have known Mike for many years because of our connection with sports for the two schools-Muskegon Catholic and Western Michigan Christian. When it came to discussing basketball, we each had our obvious favorite school but it was always good natured talking and always out of respect for the two schools and us two men as Christians. He never had a bad word to say about my school and we could talk and laugh about the great traditions of basketball and football in our area. We both knew that we wanted kids to learn Christ centered life lessons through sports.
Mike was always faithful in sending a note to me about our basketball success and about me as a person and coach. I have kept those notes through the years and will treasure them until I die and see him again someday. You as a family can be proud of his testimony in our community.

Pappa Ladd was a fixture inside the Catholic Central dugout and press box while Levi and Corey played ball. He was a true gentleman and we will never forget the support he displayed for our sons and the entire team. Everyone loved him so much, he was truly a "pappa" to us all. We know he will be missed greatly, and we are sure that he will never be forgotten.##imported-begin##Bill Spaniola/Karen Bohn##imported-end##
Sending my families prays out to the Ladd family. Mike and Donna, you both always treated me and everyone you know like one of your own. Even if years would go by since we would see each other you both would always extend your love my way. I will always remember Mike's love of sports and fond memories of our conversations about sports. Such a wonderful man full of life, he will be missed.
