Michael David "Mike" Balaskovitz's Obituary
Mr. Michael David “Mike” Balaskovitz, age 44, passed away Friday, June 16, 2006 at his home. He was born March 3, 1962 in Muskegon, MI to Joseph and Marie (Rogozinksi) Balaskovitz, Sr. and lived his entire life in the area. He was a graduate of Reeths-Puffer High School and had worked for his family’s business, Versatile Fabrication as a truck driver. SURVIVORS include his parents, Joseph and Marie Balaskovitz, Sr.; his brothers, Joseph (Kris) Balaskovitz, Jr., Ronald (Cherri) Balaskovitz, Dan (Janee) Balaskovitz; 8 nieces and nephews, Joseph, Andrew, Ronald II, Tyler, Emma, Brendan, Thomas, and Katee Balaskovitz; his aunts and uncles, Pat and Bob Aardema, Margaret and Stanley Scott, George and Cathy Balaskovitz; his great-uncle, Frank Balaskovitz and his great-aunt, Mary Bohland; and many cousins, co-workers and friends. A MEMORIAL LITURGY will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at the Sytsema Funeral Home, 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210, with the Rev. Fr. Robert A. Hart presiding. VISITATION with Mike’s family will be 5-8 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home where the Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 PM.
