Michael E. George's Obituary
Mr. Michael E. “Mike” George, age 38, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2003 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born February 21, 1965 in Muskegon to Albert and Fontella (McCann) George and was a life resident of the area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. On September 18, 1999, he married the former Rebecca S. Jacobsen in Muskegon. Mike worked as a computer systems engineer and was the owner of AristaNet Services, Inc. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Mike was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. SURVIVORS include his wife, Rebecca; parents, Albert and Fontella George of Norton Shores; father and mother-in-law, William and Phyllis Jacobsen of Muskegon; sister, Donna (Doug) Brower of Rockford, MI; 2 brothers-in-law, William (Annette) Jacobson, Jr., Steven (Amber) Jacobsen both of Muskegon; nieces and nephews, Kayla, Megan, Kelsey, Matthew Brower, Zachery, Amanda, Steven, Raeanna, Rose Jacobsen; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 26, 2003, at Our Lady of Grace with the Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding and the Rev. Fr. Phillip Sliwinski concelebrating. INTERMENT will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION with Mike’s family will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., (231) 759-8565.
