Mr. Michael G. Moran, age 68, passed away Friday, December 5, 2008. He was born September 7, 1940 in Muskegon to George and Elvi Moran and had been a life resident. Mr. Moran served with the National Guard, was a member of the Sea Read Obituary
I so enjoyed Mike's slide shows of his beautiful photography that he presented for our Muskegon County Nature Club. His description of the birds and animals in his photos were amazing -- just like he was their personal friend! I will miss his presence at our Nature Club.

Mike and I have been friends since the late 60's. We hunted, shot skeet, and spent one weekend a month together at the Muskegon National Guard. I'll miss Mike. We were good friends. I'm sorry I can't make it to the service.

Mike and I hunted partridge in Michigan for many years. We also took our western trips together to hunt pheasants,deer or elk Next to his photography, Mike loved his hunting. He actually started his photography on one of our western deer hunts in South Dakota. During the off hunting season times, Mike spent many a day at the Muskegon Gun Club, then later Seaway Gun Club. For many of his close friends Mike was the gunsmith of choice who could repair just about any firearm. Mike will be missedby all who new him. God Bless##imported-begin##tom matz##imported-end##
Mike loved to take pictures out here at the Wastewater System. The vestibule, our conference room, and our brochures are full of them. We will miss him telling us about all the snowy owls, eagles, and rarer birds and wildlife here. He was a good friend of many of us.
