Michael J. Moon's Obituary
Mr. Michael J. Moon, age 45, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 16, 2007 in Grand Rapids. He was born March 26, 1961 in Muskegon to John J. and Barbara (Fortin) Moon, Sr., and lived in the Muskegon area before moving to Grand Rapids 18 years ago. Mike was a graduate of Reeths Puffer High School, served as a U.S. Marine, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was employed as a tool and die maker for Autodie for over 10 years. SURVIVORS include his wife, the former MarJo VanEe of Grand Rapids; 1 son, Austin James of Jackson, MI; 1 step-daughter, Tracy (Josh) of Grand Rapids; his mother, Barbara Joan Moon of Twin Lake; 2 brothers, John W. (Lisa) Moon of N. Muskegon, Mark A. Moon of Chicago; 2 sisters, Debra L. (Greg) Rollenhagen of Twin Lake, Teresa M. (Al) Collinge of Twin Lake. He was preceded in death by a son, Sean Michael, and his father, John Moon, Sr. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, 150 Church St., Twin Lake, at 10:00 AM Saturday, with the Rev. Fr. Jack LaGoe presiding. Interment will take place at Twin Lake Cemetery. VISITATION at
