Michael James Witt's Obituary
Mr. Michael James Witt, age 52, went to be with his Lord Good Friday Evening, April 6, 2007, at the VNS Hospice Care Facility. Mike was born February 8, 1955 in Evergreen Park , IL to Albert and Eileen (Coughlin) Witt. He married the former Elise Scouten on July 21, 1978. Michael had been employed by Knoll Group for 29 years. He attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, was a member of the Owasippe Conservation and Hunting Club, and an honorary Boy Scout of America. Michael was a great hunter and fisherman in the Blue Lake Area. Most of all, he was a wonderful husband, father, and friend.
SURVIVORS include his wife of 29 years, Elise; 1 daughter, Kay Elise (fiance, Mark Niskanen) Witt; 4 brothers, Dan (Nancy) Witt of Palos Hills, IL., Jerry Witt of Twin Lake, Ron and Albert Witt, both of Muskegon; 1 sister, Mary (Dan) McShannock of Fruitport; his best friend, Dan Osborn of Montague; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 451 S. Getty St., with Rev. Father Phil Sliwinski presiding. VISITATION will be 5-8 PM Tuesday, at the
