Michael L. Wilson's Obituary
Mr. Michael L. Wilson, age 65, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at his home. He was born February 23, 1943 in Harriman, TN to Elmer and Katherine (Fritts) Wilson, and resided in the Muskegon area since 1995. Mike worked 35 years as a vocal and music teacher. He was a member of Allen Ave. Christian Reformed Church, where he had been their choir director for many years; and then later at Lake Harbor UMC. On February 23, 1974 he married the former Leigh Townsend, and she survives him along with 1 daughter, Gerri Leigh (Kent) Creason of Tucson, AZ and their sons, Karek and Cody Creason; brother, Allyn (Belia) Wilson of Clinton, TN; nephew, Stanley (Suzanne) Wilson of Oakridge, TN; and a large extended family in the south. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be 2PM Monday at Allen Ave. CRC with Rev. Robert Bierenga officiating. VISITATION will be 1 hour prior to the service in the basement of church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the family will be appreciated. Arrangements by The Sytsema Chapel
