Michael "Mike" Alan Park's Obituary
Michael Alan Park, age 51, of Spring Lake passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013, at a local hospital. He was born January 21, 1962 in Jackson, MI to Robert T. and Patricia (Pipesh) Park.
Mike was employed as a supervisor at Herman Miller for 19 years. He liked to golf but especially loved watching and coaching his children’s sports and activities.
He will be forever loved and missed by his children, Brooke and Kaitlynn Park of Spring Lake; his mother, Patricia Park of Marcellus, MI; sisters, Kate (Gerard) Tejeda of Holland and Roberta Park of Marcellus; brothers: Joe (Sue) Park, Terry Park and Larry (Sara) Park all of Marcellus; and good friend, Scott Franczek. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Robert T. Park.
The funeral service for Mike will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. Fr. Charlie Brown as celebrant. Friends may meet the family 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, at the funeral home in Grand Haven. Memorial contributions in Mike’s name may be given to the Children’s Educational Fund c/o AAC Credit Union, 17228 Van Wagoner, Spring Lake, MI 49456.
