I was a guidance counselor at Montague High School for a number of years, but during that time, I had the distinct pleasure of getting to know “Mickey” in her capacity as an aide. And boy, did she “aid” everybody—it didn’t matter if you were a student, teacher, administrator, parent, counselor, lunchroom worker: Mickey helped anyone and everyone in need in that building. She had the kindest, most gentle nature about her that some students would want to take advantage of it, but there were always others there willing to stick up for her because of it. Mickey loved to laugh because she loved life which was always apparent in her lovely and gentle smile. I’ll never forget her graciousness and feel blessed to have known her.
