Michelle M. Brodin's Obituary
Michelle M. Brodin, 44, passed away at home Saturday evening surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 1, 1970 to Sam and Nancy (Stulp) Evans in Muskegon, and lived most of her life here. Michelle had worked for Cascade Engineering, and had attended Mona Shores Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Mona Shores High School, and had also worked in a local neurology office. She is survived by her son, Trevor; her mom and step-dad, Nancy and Ed Woodyard; her dad and step-mom, Sam and Donna Evans; her grandmother, Louise Stulp; brothers and sisters, Mark (Jennifer) Evans, Christopher (Erika) Evans, Erin (Spencer Rice) Evans, Jack (Katrina) Woodyard, Sherry (John) Tussey, Andrea (Matt) Huizenga; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Sam Evans, Sr.; grandma, Ruth Evans; grandpa, Fred Stulp, Sr.; aunt, Carol Stulp; and uncle, Charles Evans. The Funeral Service for Michelle will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 4, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100, with Rev. David Eikenberry officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 3 from 5-8PM and one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Egelston Twp. Cemetery.
