Michelle L. Cotton's Obituary
Michelle Lynn Cotton, age 57, passed away in Muskegon, MI, on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Michelle was born in Muskegon to Orville “Mike” and Sharon (McGahan) Woodring on May 13, 1967. She graduated from Reeth’s Puffer High School in 1985. Michelle was a straightforward person who always spoke her mind. She had a tough exterior but loved to laugh and always tried to stay positive. She was a lover of music, especially old country, Elvis, and Blue October. She enjoyed going to concerts and spending time at the lake, but more than anything she loved spending time with her grandkids.
Michelle will be lovingly remembered by two daughters: Desiree (Justin) Tennison and Dominique Ulrey; son, Dustin Lockhart; seven grandchildren: Jackson, River, Everly, Dezmond, Kadence, Brooklyn, and Huntley; brother, Jeff Woodring; and aunt and uncle, Kay and Doug Cowles. She was preceded in death by her parents.
