Michelle Holt's Obituary
With her sparkling blue eyes and warm heart, Michelle lived a life brimming with love and joy. Born on April 10, 1957, to Phyllis and Edward Smith, she grew up in Muskegon, Michigan with her siblings Ed (Sandy), Mitchell (Shelley), Kathy and Marianne. She graduated from Orchard View High School in 1975.
Michelle left us before her time July 27, 2024, but her vibrant spirit will forever shine in our memories.
A devoted wife and mother, Michelle shared over 40 wonderful years with her beloved husband Lee and cherished every moment with her daughter Jessica (Marcus). Her home was always a haven of warmth, laughter, and the joyful presence of her beloved dogs.
Michelle found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She loved basking in the sun, tending to her garden, and feeding the birds. Her favorite treat was ice cream, and she never missed a chance to indulge in her sweet tooth.
Despite struggling for many years with a chronic illness, Michelle faced each day with remarkable strength and a positive outlook. Her resilience and determination were an inspiration to all who knew her.
Every Christmas, Michelle delighted family and friends with her famous homemade fudge, a tradition that showcased her love and generosity. Her legacy is one of charity, strength, and a life well-lived.
Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Let us celebrate Michelle's life by finding joy in the outdoors, hugging our loved ones, and savoring a scoop of ice cream in her honor. She was truly amazing.
Michelle would want us to remember that this is not goodbye, it’s “later gator” …
