Mildred L. "Millie" (Butzer) Hartsema's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred L. “Millie” (Butzer) Hartsema, age 83, met her Savior on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the Poppen Residence in Muskegon. She was born in Fremont, MI on March 2, 1932 to William and Marie (Westra) VanAndel. After raising her three daughters, Millie enjoyed working in food service at Montague Schools. She was a member of Fifth Reformed Church. On September 6, 1952, Millie married William Butzer and he preceded her in death on August 8, 1978. She is survived by her three daughters, Kelly (Sam) Studer, Nancy (Tony) Dunn and Sally (Richard) Dykema; six grandchildren, Scott (Colleen), Lisa, April (Greg), Matt (Rachel), Courtney, and Stephen; two great-grandchildren, Owen and Skylar and special sister-in-law, Norma Schrickel. In addition to her husband, Millie was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, and one brother. VISITATION will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S.
