Mildred C. Robinson's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred C. Robinson, age 85, passed away Sunday morning, June 5, 2016 at Mercy Hospital. She was born September 25, 1930 in Durand, MI to Andrew and Margaret (Helko) Veverica; and moved from there to the Muskegon area as a teenager. Milly enjoyed cooking, gardening and working on her many craft projects. She especially loved her time surrounded by her family. Her optimism and keen sense of humor made time with her special to everyone. On September 25, 1954, she married Darold C. Robinson and he survives her along with 3 children, Candace (Guy) Hollister, Thomas (Patty) Robinson and Stacey Cornell; 5 grandchildren, Sarah (Aaron); Michelle, Blake, Lauren and Trip; and by 1 brother, Henry (Sandy) Veverica; and by her life-long, “forever friend”, DeeDee Peters. Milly was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Emil and Albert Veverica. A FUNERAL SERVICE for Milly will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 10, 2016 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231-798-1100). Interment will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION with Milly’s family will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday.
