Mrs. Mildred Lenore Hasenbank's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred Lenore Hasenbank, age 88, passed away Friday evening, June 19, 2015 at a local care facility. Mildred was born to Barthold and Emma (Anderson) Hagen. On August 3, 1962 she married Arthur Hassenbank and he preceded her in death on October 10, 1985. Mildred was a graduate of Muskegon High School and Muskegon School of Business. Mildred had worked at Sealed Power Corporation and Shaw Walker prior to her retirement. She was a longtime member of St. Mark Lutheran Church where she had been very active as well as a choir member. She enjoyed gardening and bingo, and loved cats. Mildred is survived by her stepson, Bruce (Jeanne) Hasenbank of Muskegon; her sister, Sandra (Harvey) Pummel; a sister-in-law Marge Hagen of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Howard, Robert, Clarence, L. Russell , Donald and James Hagen; sisters, Ethel Pierce, Helen Bernice Kienke, and Maxine Bolle. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at St. Mark Lutheran Church,4475 Henry St. with Rev. Mark Gilson officiating. VISITATION will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 and one hour prior to the service at church (10-11AM). MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Building Fund or Mercy VNS Hospice. Interment will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
