Mildred "Millie" E. Jawor's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred “Millie” E. Jawor, age 75, died Sunday, October 5, 2008 at her home. She was born August 16, 1933 in Steuben, Wisconsin to Lloyd and Iva (Sissel) Latsch, and resided in the Muskegon area most of her life. She worked on her family’s blueberry farm for many years, loved antiquing, baking, and especially her grandchildren. Millie was also a member of the Philadelphia Church of God in Indiana. In 1955, she married Carl Jawor in Richmond, VA and he survives her along with 5 children, Deborah Jawor and Michael (Kathy) Jawor both of Muskegon, Annette (Tom) Bonde of Colorado, Jeffrey (Sherrie) Jawor and Carl Jawor, Jr. both of Ravenna; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Melvin (Linda) Latsch, Bill (Jean) Latsch, and Phillip (Marlene) Latsch. Millie was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Jawor in 1976; brother, Robert Latsch; and sisters, Nancy Jancek, and Barbara Newville. SERVICES will be 11 AM Wednesday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Rev. Gary VanKoevering officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8 PM Tuesday. Burial will take place in Egelston Twp. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution to Harbor Hospice will be appreciated.
