Where to start…… Eloise was a founding member of the Muskegonites Child Study Club, a local division of the Michigan Child Study. She and other original members encouraged women to join, especially new young moms. The meetings were designed around topics to help young moms with parenting, nutrition, relationships; many unlimited topics to help you with the role of raising a child, being a successful mother, nurturing your family, and achieving a positive self image. Not only were the meetings very informative, but the socializing and night “out” were welcome. Many of us retained our memberships until we were grandmothers, then welcoming our own daughters and daughter in laws into the club.
Eloise received a “ lifetime membership” into the Muskegon Club in her late 80’s, having fostered this group for years.
