Mrs. Mildred Server's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred Minnie Server, age 104, passed away January 19, 2018 in La Grange, IL. Mildred was born October 23, 1913 to William and Louise (Omness) Webber in Claybanks Township, Oceana County, MI. She was married to Martin Server in 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1969. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Mildred was employed as a nurse’s aide at Knollview nursing home for 10 years, retiring in 1974, but her favorite occupation was being a mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed gardening; especially growing tomatoes. She is SURVIVED by her sons, James Server of Riverside, IL and William (Heayoung) Server of St. Joseph, MI; granddaughter, Christine Server of Baltimore, MD; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl and Ernest Webber; and sisters, Alma Lozon and Mabel Burghduf. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM February 10, 2018, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with Rev. Dennis L. Lassanske officiating. Burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
