Mildred A. King's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred A. King, age 87, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2007. She was born January 2, 1920 to Edward and Aina (Mattila) Alholm in Crosby, MN. She worked for Lakey Foundry for 28 years, and Johnson Technologies for 9 years prior to her retirement in the early 1980’s. She was a member of the International Association of Machinist. Mrs. King had a great love for family. She had many interests including gardening, traveling, rock hunting, reading, watching mysteries, and baking for her family. On March 10, 1938, she married Earl E. King in Muskegon. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1988. SURVIVORS include 5 children, Sandra (Bruce [deceased]) Little of Fulton, MO, Larry (Joyce) King of Fulton, MO and California, Dennis (Carolyn) King of Muskegon, Lucinda (Dean) Ali of Lansing, MI and Timothy King of Muskegon; 1 daughter-in-law, Shirley King, 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
