Mildred A. Maring's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred A. Maring, age 86, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, October 9, 2004, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born October 21, 1917 in Muskegon to John & Augusta (Luders) Zillah and had been a life resident of the area. Milly was a member of Unity Reformed Church, Widow’s Agape Fellowship and formerly of First Reformed Church of Muskegon. On October 30, 1940 she married Jerry A. Maring and he preceded her in death on October 31, 1998. Milly loved her family, golfing, gardening and knitting and is SURVIVED by 4 daughters, Judy (Jim) VanderWel of Grand Haven, Nancy (Steve) Vanderlip of Jenison, Sue (Dave) VanRandwyk of Grandville and Debbie (Greg) Teerman of Norton Shores; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. SERVICES will be 11 AM Wednesday at Unity Reformed Church (1521 Porter Rd.) with the Rev. Kyle DeYoung officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery. VISITATION with Milly’s family will be 2-4 & 6-8PM Tuesday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442 (231-726-5210). MEMORIAL GIFTS to Camp Geneva will be appreciated.
