Mildred Elizabeth Baker's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred Elizabeth Baker, age 100, passed away Monday afternoon at a local nursing home. She was born December 12, 1908, in Port Allegany, PA to William and Ella (Murphy) Bradley. In 1936 Mildred married Harold Baker and he preceded her in death in 1981. Mrs. Baker was a long time member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where she had served in the Altar Society. Mildred is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; a special niece, Katherine Bolema, and special nephew, Bill (Jean) Schulz. In addition to Harold, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Maude Mehney, Rosela Fulton, Helen Schulz, and Madeline Burghess; 3 brothers, Ralph, Raymond, and Donald (who was killed in the Korean War).
