Mildred Katharine Andersen's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred Katharine Hage Andersen, age 92, passed away peacefully Sunday evening May 15, at VNS Hospice House. Born March 21, 1913, in Litchfield, North Dakota, and married on September 2, 1938, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Milton B. Andersen, on July 21, 1990. Mrs. Andersen was a very committed life-long member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, a former officer of American Business Women (ABWA), active in her community and a member of Sons of Norway. She was a valued employee of Enterprise Brass Works for 36 years until her retirement in 1979. Mrs. Andersen is survived by two daughters, Linda Andersen of Fullerton, CA and Marcia (Stephen) Murphy of Bloomfield, MI; one son, Thomas B. Andersen of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Nicole Lowery, Matthew and Kate Andersen, Lois (Will) Yeats, Neill (Susan) Murphy; two sisters, Maxine Maddocks and Ruth Jean (William) Thorn of Spring Lake; one brother, Maxwell (Jane) Hage of Deland, FL; one brother-in-law, Franklin (Eva Marie) Andersen of Grand Haven; 2 sisters-in-law, Irene Hage of Daly City, CA and Lu Hage of Moline, IL; and numerous and beloved nieces and nephews. Mrs. Andersen was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Samuel Hage. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Thursday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Southern and Barclay, with Reverend Thomas Williamsen officiating. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday at
