Mildred Lucille "Millie" Langlois' Obituary
Ms. Mildred L. “Millie” Langlois, age 86, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at a local nursing home. She was born March 26, 1923 in Evart, MI to Roy and Edna (Truckston) Gibson and lived in the Muskegon area since 1943. Millie worked 38 years for Teledyne Continental Motors and retired as an inspector in 1982. She was a member of UAW Local #113. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, Bernard (Carol) Langlois of Muskegon and Duane (Andrea) Langlois of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and her former spouse, Bernard (Mary Jo) Langlois of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by 1 son, Dennis Langlois in 2009, her parents, 1 brother and 6 sisters. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 1:00 PM Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Thomas J. Brown presiding. INTERMENT will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION with Millie’s family will be one hour prior to the service, 12-1 PM Saturday at the church.
