Mr. Milo "Mike" Anderson's Obituary
Milo (Mike) Alfred Anderson, age 94, passed away February 16, 2019 in Muskegon. He was born March 24, 1924 to Charles and Gertie (Stavenga) Anderson in Fremont, and moved to the Muskegon area in 1946. Milo was a WWII Army Air Force veteran and was credited with 50 missions. He was a wonderful father and he enjoyed helping others, gardening and camping. He was retired from Amstore where he worked as a Master Carpenter and Cabinet maker. Mike married Cleo Mudget on August 31, 1946, and she preceded him in death on January 10, 2006. Survivors include 4 sons: Daryl (Sandy), Charles (Crystal), Gale (Lorraine), Wayne; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Tedeschi; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. A celebration of Mike’s life will be held Saturday, May 18, at 2:00 PM at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church, 1568 W. Giles Rd., with full Military Rites. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
