I just wanted to extend my sincerest condolences to the family and friends of this beautiful lady. Cancer has taken another beautiful soul. I am sure God needed her for bigger plans but those left here on earth will always be affected by how soon she left. Prayers and hugs to all. May she rest peacefully and no longer in pain and suffering.
Pat,Jack,Bruce and Kobe I am so sorry for your loss of your daughter, sister and mother. I am glad to say I have known Mindi since she was a little girl who had grown to be a wonderful friend and a great mother. Kobe you should be proud of the young man u have become. Your mother is watching you and smiling rip mindi Shaffer u will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Mindi's son Kobe, her family and close friends. Though I went to school with Mindi, (2 years ahead of her) I got to know her better during her second fight with cancer, after I too had my own battle. She and I sent many emails (FB messages) to each other, comparing notes and experiences and offering support and hope to each other. Although we fought different types of cancer, cancer is cancer and I know how nice it was to have a fellow warrior to share and talk with. She was an amazing support to me and if I even made an ounce of her battle any easier, I would be blessed and grateful. May she rest in peace and may you all find your own peace as you learn to live without her. She was an amazing lady.
