Minerva "Pat" M. Jozsa's Obituary
Mrs. Minerva “Pat” M. Jozsa, age 91, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016. She was born on October 12, 1925 in Muskegon to Charles and Minnie (Dickman) Forrest, and resided in the area her entire life. Pat worked for Sheldons and the City of Muskegon for a number of years before retiring in 1987. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary, Sacred Heart Seniors and City of Muskegon Seniors. In 1953, she married Alex Jozsa and they were blessed with 63 years of marriage. Alex preceded her in death on October 24, 2016. SURVIVORS include five children, Michael (Debra), Alex (Carol), John (Barbara) Jozsa, Monica (John) Klever, and Mary Lou Jozsa; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Pat was also preceded in death by her son, Tim Jozsa; brother, Frank Forrest; and sister, Betty Swiftney. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will take place on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, (150 E. Summit Ave) with Rev. Fr. Norm Droski presiding. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the start of the service, from 10-11 AM. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Mercy VNS Hospice, or the Johnson Cancer Center.
