Minnie Mary St. Amour's Obituary
Mrs. Minnie Mary St. Amour, age 99, went to heaven to be with her son Donald, and other loved ones on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 in Muskegon. She was born on November 16, 1906 in Pere Marquette Township, MI to Eugene and Eliza (Nephew) Marchido, and had resided in the Muskegon area for most of her life. Mrs. St. Amour was a member of St. Jean’s Catholic Church, and had worked at Teledyne Continental Motors for 29 years before retiring. She had first married Cyril Deering who preceded her in death on May 24, 1944, and then married Arthur St. Amour who preceded her in death on August 27, 1990. Mrs. St. Amour was also preceded in death by 3 children, Donald Deering, Leo St. Amour, Caroline Zellner, and her siblings. SURVIVORS include children, Betty (Jerry) Durgan, Jerry (Sandra) St. Amour; grandchildren, Donna, Pamela, Laurie, Kristy, Holly, Sharon, Joice, David, Rita, Brian, Tom, Jim, Joe, Jerry; many great grandchildren, many great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. SERVICES will be 1 PM Monday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc.,737 Apple Ave.231-726-5210 with Rev. Fr. James. B. Wyse presiding. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 12-1 PM. Entombment will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
