Minnie W. Johns' Obituary
Minnie Wealthy Johns, widow of the late Raymond Donald Johns, of 775 W. Forest Ave., Muskegon, MI passed away September 2nd at Mercy Hospital. Born in Grand Rapids, MI, May 1st 1938 to Lola Luella Cobb and Clarence Vanderveen Hyde.
There will be a family gathering at 775 West Forest Ave. in Muskegon, MI all day Saturday, September 8, 2007 to exchange stories and memories. All family and friends are invited to stop by.
Minnie had been fighting many medical problems since losing the function of her kidneys. Going to dialysis 3 times a week, having one bad lung, going through heart and lung surgery and numerous stays in the hospital fighting a variety of infections. She fought a long and hard fight, never giving up, but she grew tired and the battle got to be too much for her.
Minnie was the sister to Mary B. Cartwright, Dorothy M. Ritchie, Mamie E. Mumper, JoAnn K. Swanson and the late William T. McNally and is survived by her 5 children, Donald, R. Johns, Katherine S. Jourden, Andrew J. Johns, Robert J. Johns and Barbara J.
