JoAnne's many advanced degrees attest to the fact that she was brilliant. She was a talented artist and inspired crafter.
She was our mother's best friend, sharing joy and heartache thru decades. She helped guide us through our darkest hours and we came out stronger with her help.
JoAnne was loving and caring, giving and forgiving, passionate and compassionate, accepting and supportive.
She took care of her parents as they aged and their health failed. She went to Missouri to do the same for her aunt. She truly understood and appreciated the help, the sacrifices and the love shown to her by Janet W. and Diane V.
A true Lady, JoAnne, lived her life guided by her love of God and her Christian values. We should all strive to live as she did, with humility and grace.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who loved her and will miss her.

Grandma Jo was a blessing to me. I an extremely lucky to be the proud grand daughter of Elsworth Bont. I can not state how much of an influence Grandma Jo was with the development of my character. Any body who knew her was blessed to have had her in their life. My family was both changed and blessed to have her take a role in our direction and faith. I am grateful that the Lord was generous enough to share such a giving, honest and loving spirit with me and my family. Prayers to all that were given her love.
