Misty Lyn Hoagland's Obituary
Misty Lyn (Turner) Hoagland passed away on Tuesday, June 13th, 2023, at the age of 62. A nurturing soul, Misty devoted herself to caring for her loved ones; she enjoyed cooking meals for family gatherings, designing craft projects and scavenger hunts for her grandchildren, and creating handmade gifts for the holidays. She loved nature and was most content in the woods, near a quiet lake or river, or sharing stories and laughs in the warm glow of a campfire. She had an artistic and creative mind and loved working with her hands, crafting beautiful resin jewelry and folding intricate paper flowers. She was intelligent, loving, and humorous, and her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her daughters and her grandchildren, who will miss her laughter and her hugs most of all.
Misty is preceded in death by her father, Gregg Turner, and her brother, Rick Turner. She is survived by her daughters, Amber (Thom) Falk, Rachelle (David) Townsend, and Brandi (Aaron) Danigelis, her grandchildren, Emery, Bennett, Callen, and Chloe Townsend, her mother, Joyce Cosier, siblings, Bryan Turner, and Wendy (Fred) Impens, as well as aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Misty will be taking place at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 10, 2023, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Service, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI, 49444, with VISITATION taking place an hour prior.
