Mr. Bobby E. Lund's Obituary
Mr. Bobby E. Lund, age 85, passed away Tuesday, November 30 in Muskegon. He was born April 6, 1925 to Theodore and Neva (Hansen) Lund in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Mr. Lund was a WWII U.S. Marine veteran, and worked at Kaydon for 40 years before retiring in 1986. He was a life-time member of the Mona Lake Boat Club, belonged to the BPOE#274, was a Barber Shopper, and an avid bowler. On May 28, 1949 he married Shirley L. Falony, and she preceded him in death on December 24, 2008. SURVIVORS include nieces and nephews, Brian (Nancy) Falony of Lawrenceville, GA, Lynne (Larry) Osborn of Norton Shores, Heather (Eric) Sturr of Norton Shores, Carma Jean (Lysle) Johnson of Grand Rapids, Cliff (Marge) Lund of Muskegon, Doreen (John) Byers of Ward, AR, Kathleen (Gary) Essenberg of Muskegon, Charlene (Gary) Mosley of Muskegon, Cheryl (Rick) Larman of Grand Rapids, Jeff (Nan) Carlsen of Spokane, WA, Vicki (Dave) Bolton, Greg (Chris) Carlsen, both of Spokane Valley, WA; 1 half-brother, Dale (Gladys) Carlsen of Spokane, WA; 2 sisters-in-law, Jean Poulson and Elizabeth Lund, both of Muskegon. Mr. Lund was also preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Theodore “Roy” Lund and Harold Lund; and his step-father, Axel Carlsen. A Celebration of Bob’s life will take place from 2-4 PM Sunday, December 5, at the Mona Lake Boat Club.
