Hi Dad,
the days go by quickly and you are in my thoughts daily. Oh how much I miss you. I need your help with a few things and then I think what would dad say or advise me to do.
We are having a winter like the ones I remember as a child.

Dad,
it's been almost 2 yrs since you left us for heaven. I miss you so much. There has been a lot that has happened. Silly Jilly or Jill the PIll as you called her was in a car accident in November. I know that you are in heaven praying for her complete recovery.I miss your strength that you had and how you showed us to be strong.
When you are with Jesus, please ask Him to continue to heal Jill and make her whole again for us and bring her home soon.

To Aunt Angie and the Kay family;

My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I apologize that I can't be at the funeral to celebrate Uncle Kaziu's life but I know that you will understand. I have a lifetime of memories but I think the one that will always stand out will be Uncle Kaziu's garden. Being an accountant (translation, anal), I was always impressed with how orderly it was and how much food he could produce from such a small space. On the negative side, you can only eat so much zucchini.

I will be thinking of you during this time and I know you will take comfort in the fact that his was a life well lived.

Uncle Kaziu , Aunt Aungie and the family are in my prayers.

To say that I have extremely fond memories of Uncle Kaziu is an understatement. Often referring to me as "cry-ing Ryan" whenever I begged for some finger jello, he quickly became the highlight of my Muskegon visits with Busia Karpowicz (to see great Busia of course).

I am (and will always) be extremely envious of his mastery of the concertina. Along side Eddie Blazonczyk, he was one of my first inspirations to pursue music.

Another Marine has fallen but he will never die. His memory will live on with his brothers-in-arms and all those that remember him.

“And when he gets to heaven, to St. Peter he will tell,
Another Marine reporting sir! I’ve served my time in hell.”
