Mr. Dennis Arthur Ellison's Obituary
Mr. Dennis Ellison, Age 56, passed away unexpectedly early Sunday Morning , September 25, 2011, at a local hospital. Dennis was born March 22, 1955 in Muskegon to Francis and Retha (Connelly) Ellison. On August 13, 1993, he married the former Deborah Skok and she survives him. Dennis had worked as a machinist at Whiteman and later Supreme Machine for 25 years prior to his retirement. He continued to pursue woodworking after retirement. He enjoyed playing poker with his many special friends, watching NASCAR, and the many weekends spent camping. Dennis also enjoyed his trips to Mexico, and loved the casinos. In addition to his wife Debbie, Dennis is survived by his 3 daughters, Danita (Chris) Cole of Lansing, Jennifer Wymer and Melissa Wymer, both of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren, Danielle , Devin , Joshua, Jimmy, Natalie, William, Isabela, and Alexis; 3 sisters, Delores Greene, Jana (Jim) Benson, and Doreen Turner, all of the Muskegon area; brother-in-law Edward (MaryAnn) Skok and sister-in-law Becky (Bob) Cole; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Kenny Ellison and James Boyd. A TIME OF SHARING AND REMEMBERANCE will be held from 11:00 A.M. - 12 Noon Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. 1-231-798-1100 with Phil Cappelleri officiating.
